Custom test station designed and built to test large commercial truck wet clutches. These hydraulic clutches rely on non-contact engagement to almost eliminate wear and tear by compressing oil forming a bond between the clutch plates. This test station fully functionally tests engagement/disengagement, lockup, and hysteresis.

  • Computer based control and data acquisition system Can accommodate wet clutch types
  • 75 HP VFD controlled input drive motor for engine simulation
  • 75 HP VFD controlled output drive motor for transmission simulation
  • Automatic mating and connections by means of clamping and positioning servo slides.
  • Full HPU with oil conditioning
  • Variable speed AC drive/load (regenerative capability available)
