Mechanical Design Engineer

Titan Incorporated is a leading designer and manufacturer of custom-made functional test stands for major OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers to the Off Highway and Fluid Power markets. Accelerated growth has created the need for a Mechnical Design Engineer.

The Mechancial Design Engineer will:

• Produce mechanical solid models which can be easily detailed for manufacturing using SOLIDWORKS CAD software.
• Produce working mechanical designs of test stands and special machines.
• Research technical info concerning purchased components, specify and document accordingly within the design's bill of materials.
• Be familiar with machining and fabrication methods such that designs can be manufactured in a cost effective manner.
• Be knowledgeable in specifing types of steel, associated heat treatment, and plating as required.
• Meet with Customer Reps and support shop personnel as required to review and modify design and address and resolve manufacturing issues.

BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and five (5) years experience in machine and fixture design required.
