Field Support/Business Development Engineer
Titan Incorporated is a leading designer and manufacturer of custom engineered test systems to leading off-highway equipment manufacturers.
A high visibility, engineering position is immediately available to support a key Customer in the Southwestern suburbs of Chicago.
Responsibilities include two important dimensions:
- The first is to technically support a large installed base of sophisticated, PC-based hydraulic test systems.
- The second is to be our primary point person for customer relations and new business development.
The opportunity for the right individual is significant:
- There will be no better way to learn our business. The broad range (types and complexity) of the installed base will give the incumbent far more exposure to hydraulic test systems in a short amount of time than what could be gained in a few years in a conventional engineering position.
- The successful incumbent will be capable of moving into any number of other key positions in the company including program management, applications engineering, marketing or field support management.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and characteristics:
- Four-year degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Strong computer interests and aptitude
- Strong mechanical interests and aptitudes
- Articulate, outgoing, capable of developing respected relationships
- Exceptional work ethic and commitment to excellence
- Recent engineering graduates will be considered
The position will be fully trained and supported by both Titan and Customer engineering teams to insure success.
The compensation includes a salary commensurate with experience, overtime incentives and a full benefits package.
